This was made known in a statement jointly signed by the National President of Ninzo Community Development Association, Prof. Moses Audu, and Secretary General, Mr Silas John Anche.
The statement, however, did not specify whether a ransom was paid to secure her release.
Recall that the monarch’s wife went missing after a failed kidnap attempt on the ruler at his palace on Friday.
The association applauded the Kaduna State government for its efforts in protecting the life and property of citizens in the state, “especially in securing the release of the abducted wife of the paramount ruler of Ninzo chiefdom, which occurred last Friday night.”
It urged security operatives to redouble their efforts and comb the hideouts of criminals and terrorists across the country.
The association also commended the efforts of the Chief of Defense Staff, General Christopher Musa, and other service chiefs towards combating terrorism, kidnapping and other forms of criminality in Kaduna State and the country.
ALSO, the 30 passengers kidnapped along Nasarawa -Keffi road in Nasarawa State have been released after an undisclosed ransom was reportedly paid by their relations.
One of the victims who preferred anonymity disclosed this to The Guardian in Lafia.
The victim confirmed that “all the persons kidnapped on Friday regained freedom last night after spending five days in captivity amid horrific experiences.”
The police could not be reached for comments.
Recall that following the kidnap, a driver had escaped while a pregnant woman and an old man were freed by the abductors, who demanded a N10 million ransom for each victim.
