The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Doyin Investment Ltd, Prince Samuel Adedoyin, has reiterated his commitment to support education at all levels, including uplifting the educational standards for the underprivileged students across the country.

The philanthropist, who recently donated an ICT building to Lagos State University (LASU) stated this in his remarks after being conferred with Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters (Commerce, Industry and National Development) at the grand finale of the 27th convocation ceremony of the institution.

He said: I thank God for giving me the opportunity to stand in front of you all today, from nowhere to somewhere. This is because He has done much more than I asked. I also thank the institution for recognising me with this conferment. I promise to do more for the country.”

Adedoyin noted that age is not a barrier to success, urging people to be closer to God, adding that by His grace, every plan can work.

He commended the university for finding him worthy of the honour, noting that as an indigenous university, it is committed to training young minds, who have represented the country well both home and abroad as well as elevating its status.

While noting that Nigeria is destined for greatness, he advised that the tribulations and woes that the country is currently facing would soon be over.

He urged the Tinubu-led administration to be committed and determined in proffering lasting solutions to the challenges, advising the people to remain calm and be closer to God for divine guidance on the leadership of the country.

“We Nigerians have achieved what others are yet to achieve, very soon, we will move forward. Through this present government, I am confident that Nigeria will rise because we are destined to lead and not follow,” he affirmed.
