Afrobeats sensation, WB Sickah, set to rock music industry

Afrobeats is now the next big thing all over the world and as such we’ve seen a rise in the number of uniquely talented artistes in the industry and WB Sickah is one of them.

WB Sickah whose real names is Nwuba Precious, is a singer/songwriter and lyricist. Born to a Yoruba and Igbo parents and brought up in Ondo State, WB Sickah exceptional work rate made him one of the acts to watch out for in Nigeria’s music scene.


The artiste is a graduate of engineering from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University. He began music professionally in 2015 and has since dropped several projects.

Over the years, WB Sickah has worked with big shots in Nigeria’s music industry such as Iyanya, Candy Bleaks, DJ Fizzy, Kabex, Ichaba among others and he has dropped series of projects such as ‘Fine Girl’, ‘Low’, ‘Dance n Vibe’, ‘Glory’ and his latest single, ‘Holiday’. The multitalented singer is just getting started.

After the success of his dancehall tune Dance N Vibe, WB Sickah has been recording back-to-back to satisfy the cravings of his fans and has promised to deliver a new single soon.

According to the artiste who spent his childhood in the suburbs area of Ondo City, Ondo State, his interest for music developed early at a young age and he kept at it since then before he decided to take it as a profession.

Speaking about the things that inspires his music, he said, “I derive inspiration from things around me, love and everyday occurrence.’’

Life of a musical act is a very tough one, according to WB Sickah, he has always battled with lack of finance to promote songs, then comes the fear factor of not being accepted.
