Firm designs platform to empower Nigerian youth

Sigma Pensions, one of Nigeria’s licensed pension fund administrators has launched Sigma clique, one of the most innovative information digital platforms.
 
The Sigma Clique is an ‘all in one’ stop center for news and information, financial literacy programms, lifestyle, entertainment, wisdom and life lessons, business and mentorship among others. 

The firm explained that the platform was designed to prepare Nigerian youths for a brighter future, adding that it would continually provide exciting and highly impactful content on the platform to help prepare the youth for giant strides, which will affect many more generations to come.

Meanwhile, the pension company has also donated drugs and medical equipment to the National Eye Centre, Kaduna. 
 
The company also renovated the emergency unit of the hospital. Making the donations recently at the center, Chief Compliance Officer of the company, Nafisa Mohammed, said the donations were part of the cooperate social responsibility of the company.
 
She said as a pension administrator, the firm was determined to contribute its quota to better the lives of the people.
 
She said the drugs and the equipment were to help the center in rendering services to the people. 
 
“We tried to do our own beat as it were, towards helping the the centre. It is a partnership and we felt we need to give back at our own level. 
 
“We refurbished the emergency wing of the eye centre. We provided visitors chairs. We provided some equipment and drugs for the emergency unit” she said. 
 
According to her, the items donated were among some of the basic necessities of the centre.  
 
“We have done our little bid and we hope that God will give us the grace and the ability to do more in future” she said in an interview with journalists shortly after presenting the donations.
