Unilever emerges top employer in Nigeria, three other countries
The Top Employers Institute has certified Unilever as the No. 1 Top Employer in Africa for the third consecutive year.
The British-Dutch multinational consumer goods company was certified as the No. 1 Top Employer in Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Ghana, and Kenya.
Speaking on the Award, Unilever Nigeria’s Managing Director, Yaw Nsarkoh said: “At Unilever, our goal is to create a brighter future for all. This begins with our employees.
“Our people are our priority. We strive to foster an environment of mutual trust and respect, developing individual skill and capability as well as encouraging vibrant communication and consultation between employees.

Besides, the Top Employer award, Unilever was also named as the number one Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company in South Africa and the No. 1 Manufacturing company in South Africa.

The Top Employer in Africa certification is awarded by the Top Employers Institute, which conducts an annual international audit of leading employers around the world.
The Dutch research firm assesses participating companies in nine key areas: talent strategy, workforce planning, on-boarding, learning and development, performance management, leadership development.
