ACAMB endorses new executive
The Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB) in its quest to improve quality discourse and advocacy for the banking industry has endorsed its executive for a two-year tenure, building on the successes of revitalising the association, at its 2017 yearly general meeting (AGM)
ACAMB had recently announced the members of the interim executive, which were re-constituted to drive the vision of the organization and by this ratification, all the members have assumed their substantive positions.
ACAMB President and Divisional Head, Brand and Communications, Fidelity Bank Plc, Charles Aigbe, is leading a highly effective team of crack marketing communications professionals that have been assembled from diverse backgrounds to shape conversations and perceptions around the banking industry.
As Aigbe takes on the onerous task of repositioning the association for greater impact, especially in the area of building market confidence across different segments and key stakeholders groups, he is equally supported by a vibrant 12-man executive members.
The position of First Vice President is occupied by Ogochukwu Ekezie-Ekaidem, who doubles as the Head/Deputy General Manager, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communications Department of Union Bank, while the Head, Corporate Affairs, Brand and Marketing Department of Standard Chartered Bank, Dayo Aderugbo, is the Second Vice-President.
The Head, Corporate Communication of Skye Bank, Rasheed Bolarinwa, is the Secretary-General of the Association, assisted by Shola Ogunyemi of Ecobank, while Head, Brand Management of First Bank, Bukola Oluyadi, and Head, Digital Marketing and Communications of FCMB, Lola Egboh, hold the positions of Treasurer and Financial Secretary of the association respectively.
