Cloud Therapy launches initiative to provide free psychotherapy to 2000 women

Leading mental health service provider, Cloud Therapy NG, has announced the launch of a pioneer initiative aimed at offering free psychotherapy sessions to 2000 women across Nigeria in 2024.

Recognising the critical need for accessible mental health support, particularly for women facing unique challenges, Cloud Therapy NG has embarked on a transformative mission to provide a nurturing and supportive space for women seeking professional guidance, mental wellness, and empowerment through therapy.

The initiative stems from Cloud Therapy NG’s steadfast commitment to democratising mental healthcare and making it accessible to a wide spectrum of society. The organisation aims to alleviate mental health challenges among women, empowering them to lead fulfilling and mentally healthy lives.

Recent studies have highlighted the disproportionate mental health burdens faced by women due to various societal, economic, and cultural factors. The initiative addresses these disparities by offering a unique opportunity for 2000 women to access high-quality psychotherapy services free of charge.

Founder, Cloud Therapy NG, Frank Aroyewun, expressed enthusiasm about the initiative’s potential impact. “We understand the pressing need for accessible mental health support, especially for women who often bear the brunt of various life stressors. Through this initiative, we aim to create a safe space where women can seek professional guidance, support, and empowerment.”

The free psychotherapy initiative will encompass a range of therapeutic modalities, catering to diverse mental health needs. The firm will leverage its team of certified and experienced therapists to provide personalised, evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to each woman’s unique circumstances.

The organisation firmly believes that by addressing mental health challenges among women, it can contribute significantly to fostering resilient, empowered, and mentally healthy communities across Nigeria.

“We firmly believe in the transformative power of therapy. By offering free psychotherapy sessions to women, we hope to empower them to overcome life’s challenges, improve mental well-being, and thrive in their personal and professional lives,” added Lead Therapist, Cloud Therapy NG, Judith Gbadebo.

The initiative officially launches on March 1, 2024. Sessions will be confidential, providing a safe and supportive environment for participants. Interested individuals can register through the Cloud Therapy NG website.
