Ahmadiyya commends Buhari on release of Chibok Girls

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Nigeria has commended the giant strides of the Nigerian President, towards the release of 21Chibok Girls through the efforts of the International Red Cross and the Swedish government.

In a statement by the Amir (Head), Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Nigeria, Dr Mashuud Adenrele Fasola, the group described the bold step as a testimony of President Buhari’s determination to secure the lives of all Nigerians and gradual fulfilment of his electoral promises on the eradication of Boko Haram and release of the Chibok Girls.

The Islamic organisation also commends the efforts towards rehabilitating the girls and rejoices with their parents; giving hope to the remaining children will be released in due course. It noted with satisfaction, the discipline, high sense of duty, good conduct and patriotism exemplify by the Nigerian security agencies in the fight against Boko Haram.

The Islamic organisation set for its centenary celebration in December, Prayed to Allah SWT to give President Muhammadu Buhari the good health and wisdom in his tasks and accept it as an act of ibadah.

Meanwhile, Dr. Adenrele Fasola has also commended the unique and unflinching sacrifices made by Nigerians since independence.He made this known in a Friday sermon to members of the Islamic community, assuring thèm that the sacrifices will never be in vain as the citizens must be ready to put government on its toes to deliver on their promises of good life and life abundance to all irrespective of religion, or ethnic background.

Dr. Fashola specifically noted the tremendous support given to president Muhammadu Buhari administration since its inception, calling for patience as the leadership navigates through the economic recession. Dr fasola praised the change begins with me social, economic and Political mobilisation drive and urged the country’s leadership to show practical and exemplary examples of discipline in All strata of life.
