ISAC Holds Summit On Nigerian Mining, Agriculture
The International Strategic Alliance Committee (ISAC) in collaboration with the Nigerian High Commission, United Kingdom will be hosting a summit with the theme “Nigerian Mining and Agriculture summit” on the 4-5 April, 2016, at Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre, Westminster, in London.
The summit is intended to bring government officials and experts to deliberate on issues and opportunities within the Mining and Agricultural sector of the country.
The summit is organised to bring Nigerians in diaspora, top international companies and global investors in the mining and agricultural sectors to discuss on the ways to explore opportunities for business partnerships and investment into these sectors.
ISAC representative, Mr. Olawale Adenugba said ISAC, whose focus and expertise is on the Mining and Agricultural sectors is supportive of the current administration. For the mining sector, the critical areas of focus include geophysical data capturing, mining infrastructure and mining policy initiatives from the government, while our focus for the agricultural sector includes technology, processing and logistics.
Adenugba added that the summit will host both international and Nigerian speakers and delegates, which will include, Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibajo, Governor of CBN, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, Minister of Mines and Steel, Mr. Kayode Fayemi, Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Audu Ogbeh, Governor of Samaria Regional Council, Mr. Yosi Dagan, Mr. Clive Carpenter, Vice President Africa & Nigeria – British Council for Africa, Mr. Uriel Lynn – President of Israel Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Uri Ariel – Minister of Agriculture, State of Israel and many other VIP from United States, United Nations as well as other European Countries that have interest in the sectors.
