Firm partners NNPCL for improved LPG, CNG distribution

The NNPC is Nigeria’s national oil company.

Aftermath of their participation at the seventh Nigerian Energy Summit in Abuja, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mezovest, Tosin Thompson, and his co-founder and partner, Tosin Ashafa, have related with Chairman of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited  (NNPCL),  Dr Pius Akinyelure.

The discussions, in a statement yesterday, centred on Mezovest’s contributions to the downstream sector, particularly in the distribution of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).

Acknowledging the  firm’s commitment to delivery of LPG and CNG to the last mile at the safest and most affordable rates, Akinyelure expressed the willingness to collaborate with Mezovest to make clean energy more accessible and affordable.

Thompson envisioned two primary benefits arising from the potential collaboration, noting: “With such a collaboration, I anticipate a significant reduction in gas costs for the citizens of Nigeria. Secondly, and of paramount importance, the collaboration has the potential to usher in a new era in the energy market, substantially lowering energy expenses for both individual consumers and businesses.” He added: “When energy cost comes down, food inflation would reduce and businesses would become more profitable.”
