Tables for the grand world premiere of The Wedding Party 2: Destination Dubai have sold out.

This happened a month to the event which is set to hold on December 10. The few tickets remaining are for specially invited guests.

It’s safe to say that the anticipation for the sequel of one of the biggest Nollywood movies is at it’s peak.

Preparations are underway for the movie premiere themed “Arabian Nights” and guests are already planning their “Arabian Chic” outfits in hopes that they would win a seven-day Dubai experience for the best outfit award to be given.

The theme will also reflect on the decor and a variety of exotic food, activities and entertainment to highlight the film’s location in one of the world’s favourite holiday destinations, Dubai.

This is a partnership between the ELFIKE Film Collective, EbonyLife Films, FilmOne Distribution, Inkblot Productions and Koga Studios.

Mo Abudu, CEO of EbonyLife Films, is amazed at the response the premiere has received, saying:

“We expected the tables to sell out, but not this early. We are incredibly grateful for all the support from our corporate sponsors and partners. It’s guaranteed to be a memorable night.”

Moses Babatope, COO, FilmOne Distribution, is excited about what the sold-out premiere means for the film’s box office prospects.

“The response so far has been incredible – it shows the strength and appeal of the movie. Anyone who was not able to get tickets for the premiere should endeavour to book before the film opens on December 15.”

Last year, tickets for The Wedding Party were difficult to come by and this is likely to be the case for The Wedding Party 2: Destination Dubai. Fans of the movie franchise are encouraged to book tickets as soon as they are available in a local cinema.

The Wedding Party 2: Destination Dubai will be released in cinemas on December 15. You can visit EbonyLife Films for more information.
