Metuh canvasses support for Tinubu

.Says country’s future much better now 

Former Spokesman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olisa Metuh, has call on Nigerians to set aside every sectional, political and religious sentiments and support the President Bola Tinubu-led administration, stating that his success, as he pilots the affairs of the nation, will rub off on the faith of people for generations yet unborn.


He said that the country’s future is much better now with a renewed confidence in the Nigerian project.  Metuh’s call came yesterday, barely a few days after another front-line PDP opposition member, Daniel Bwala, paid an unexpected visit to President Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Bwala’s meeting with the President had sparked speculation in the seat of government with many whispering about a likely shift in allegiance.

In a statement, which was made available to newsmen, Metuh said that Tinubu is barely seven months old as President and has taken bold decisions that have given renewed confidence in the Nigerian project aimed to better the lot of citizens and generations to come.

He said: “Nigeria’s future is much better served by contributions, inputs and constructive criticisms, as obligations and duties of responsible citizens in every participatory democracy.”
