Ekiti invites bids for construction of fire service building

Further steps are being taken to check fire outbreaks in Ekiti as the government is to construct a befitting edifice in the state capital.The state government said it was determined to execute the building project called the Brigade House through a public private partnership (PPP) arrangement.

The project includes the construction of office building and a fire protection section, as well as a packing bay.The state government therefore urged interested partners to send their company profiles including evidence of financial capacity to execute the project, apart from other conditions such as payment of development levy.

“Expression of interest information and documents shall be obtainable from the Ministry’s Department of Planning Research and Statistics on the payment of Non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira Only (50,000),” it stressed.

Submission of documents to the state tenders board secretariat should not be later than noon on December 18, 2017, “as bid opening comes up at 2.00pm on the closing date.”
