Police rescues kidnapped school girls

The three girls who were abducted at Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary School, Ikorodu, Lagos, have been rescued by the Nigerian Police. The girls were in good health.

The Guardian learnt that the girls were rescued during an overnight rescue operation launched by the police.

They were reading in the classroom on Monday evening when they were abducted by kidnappers, some of whom have been arrested.
