Founder of LONDON Advertising, an international advertising firm, Michael Moszynski, has lauded the drive by Nigerians to look inwards for alternatives in the light of declining national revenue and dwindling fortunes of the Naira.

Moszynski, who was in Nigeria recently to review Senator Ben Bruce’s new book, A Common Sense Revolution at its launch in Lagos, said the drop in the value of the Naira does not only pose challenges for the wealthy, but also has wide-ranging implications for the entire populace.

Noting that the Nigerian economy scarce jobs, Moszynski said “At a time when Nigeria’s currency has been adversely affected by the falling global oil prices and it seems the government is unable to resolve it, the Buy Naija to grow the Naira campaign is a breathe of fresh air based on common sense. If Nigeria switched consumption from imported goods to domestic products, that would help reverse the outflow of foreign currency.”

Moszynski argued that what truly divides Nigeria is the huge gap between the rich and the poor, noting, “Ben Murray Bruce’s humane insight into Nigeria has struck a chord with the people and shows that what divides Nigeria is not the north versus south; or Muslim versus Christian.”
