The People Democratic Party Chairman in Ishielu local government Emeka Nworie shot by thugs suspected to be working for All Progressive Alliance APC.
Emeka was shot this morning in his house at Ezzagu in Ishielu local government of the state when thugs numbering over 40 stormed his house.
A source told Guardian that Emeka was shot severally at his head by the thugs who carted away valuable including large sum of money.
Conforming the incident the Ebonyi State Police Public Relations Officer ASP Chris Anyanwu said that robbers invaded his house and demanded for money which was given to them by his wife.
He said that the robbers after collecting the money shot him adding that the police have started investigation on the case.
