The Presiding Pastor of Majestic Grace Embassy International, Tenidire-Sango Ota, Ogun State, Grace Wisdom, has called on Christians to place Jesus Christ at the centre of their daily endeavours.
Dr. Wisdom, who made the call during a sermon at the Special February First Sunday service held at the Church, noted that placing Christ at the centre of one’s life would enable God to re-shape one’s faulty foundations, as well as carry out His purpose and will for both the individual and the nation at large.
Appealing to every Nigerian to allow Jesus Christ to have a place at the centre of their activities, the cleric said it would help them to discern the dangers inherent in faulty foundations, which negatively affect every facet of our national life.
Wisdom explained that even as individuals, faulty foundations could hinder one’s career, health, life and business, which ultimately negates God’s will. Citing Psalm 11:3, which says, ‘when the foundation is destroyed, what can the righteous do?, the pastor urged every Nigerian to fervently pray and move closer to God to avert curses and evil covenants associated with faulty foundations.
He stressed that it is only through the identification with the Almighty God that grace can come for one to be free from all problems associated with faulty foundations.
Noting that only God gives grace, Dr. Wisdom said if people could allow grace to be so powerfully at work in their life, regardless of any foundational problem, no one would lack the benevolence of God.
While stressing that faulty foundations could rob someone of his miracles, anointing and answered prayers, the cleric enjoined people to rediscover themselves by taking an inward look into their family backgrounds in order to overcome every form of foundational problem.
