The Imo State Police Command has disclosed that it has arrested three suspects allegedly responsible for the gruesome murder of traditional rulers of Amumara Ezinihitte Mbaise and Ngwurunweke Aboh Mbaise local councils of the state; HRH Eze J.B. Ochulor and HRH Eze James Mirioma respectively.
Parading the suspects, Olumachi Iheanacho, male, (28) of Amato Umulolo Amuzu; Chisom Samuel, male, (37) and Linus Odoemenam, male (42), all from Aboh Mbaise Council of Imo State at the command’s headquarters, in Owerri, on Friday, the spokesman, ASP Henry Okoye, said their arrest underscored the command’s commitment to ridding the state of criminal elements and criminalities.
Okoye disclosed that upon invading the suspects’ camp at Umuogu Amuzu in Aboh Mbaise by the command’s operatives, part of exhibits recovered from them included three pump action guns, 12 rounds of live cartridges and various criminal charms.
