From UNIPORT to UNN Enugu campus, Reekado Banks, DJ Altim party students with Closeup Cool Breeze
University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC) was yesterday shut down by Reekado Banks, DJ Altims and other upcoming artistes treated students and residents of the coal city an unforgettable music experience as the as the biggest campus party, Close-up ‘Cool Breeze Party’ held in the institution.
Meanwhile, the Port Harcourt leg of the gig was last weekend held at the University of Port Harcourt Gymnasium Centre. The event provided students the ultimate music experience.
Guests at the well-attended party were treated to an evening of fine music and breath taking performances by finalists of the #CoolLikeThat challenge, a music competition organised by Closeup Cool Breeze brand to discover the next music star.
Apart from the amazing prizes which include iPhone 7, Beat headphone by Dr. Dre, and branded shirts, the winner apart from winning the ultimate prize being iPhone 7, also got opportunity to perform with Mavin superstar Reekado Banks at the grand finale of the #CoolLikeThat schedule to hold in Lagos.
Speaking at the event, Brand Manager Close-up, George Umoh said, “Close-up as a brand believes in the youth and possibilities, hence the brand gives you confidence to act on your desire to be physically close, be the next big music superstar, rap artiste, fashion designer, entrepreneur.”
“This is why we have organized the #CoolLikeThat parties across different cities to give an opportunity to young talented people to showcase their music skills to the world. The crowd could not hide their excitement as they sang along with the Katapot crooner, who serenaded them with hit tracks such as Move, Easy (Jeje), Ladies and Gentlemen Problem, aong others.
