We all want beautiful, smooth skin especially on our faces but not everyone can afford or is inclined to visit top spas for facial treatment to get the skin of their dreams.

However, today, you will learn that your fridge has some very impressive skin-care recipes you might not have known all this while. Here are some everyday ingredients that will work wonders for your skin and give you that clean, fresh look you have always dreamed of.

Dry Skin
You will need one avocado (pear), two tablespoons plain yoghurt, one-tablespoon olive oil and one-tablespoon honey mashed together.
This simple formula would add hydration back into rough, dry skin. The fat in the pear and olive oil would help seal cracks between skin cells while the honey and yoghurt would leave your skin feeling soft and plump. Make sure to rinse very well when removing the mask.

Dull Skin
You will need mashed papaya (pawpaw), a teaspoon of honey and one whipped egg white mixed together. If you’re searching for a brighter, more glowing complexion, try this. The enzymes in the pawpaw are a natural exfoliator while the honey and egg white bind the mask together.

Acne-Prone Skin
You will need one banana, half-teaspoon baking soda and half teaspoon turmeric powder all mashed together.
We all know turmeric is a wonder ingredient and if you suffer from moderate acne, this mask would come in very handy as bananas promote skin cell regeneration and helps pores stay clean. The turmeric helps fight the acne-causing bacteria while the baking soda absorbs the excess oil on your face.

Rough Skin
For this, you will need, small cucumber (blended), one-tablespoon honey and one-tablespoon brown sugar. This mask helps reduce irritation, exfoliates and leaves your face noticeably softer and supple even after just one use.

Sensitive Skin
You will need one-tablespoon yoghurt, one- teaspoon honey and one teaspoon cocoa powder all mixed together.
For people with sensitive skin, this is perfect as yoghurt is rich in probiotics and soothing skin proteins. The cocoa powder helps calm irritation while honey tightens the skin.

Oily Skin
You will need half cup cooked oatmeal, an egg and one tablespoon lemon juice mixed together.
The acid in the lemon juice eliminates excess oil and dead skin cells while the oatmeal soothes the skin.

Tired Skin
One lemon, two tablespoons sugar and one- tablespoon olive oil is needed.
The sugar and lemon would exfoliate dead skin cells while the olive oil hydrates and restores your face tremendously.

Blemished Skin
Soft, boiled and mashed sweet potatoes, one- tablespoon honey and two drops of tea-tree oil is needed for this mask.
The potatoes help with acne while the tea-tree oil fights blemishes and honey tightens the skin. Apply once a week at least for a glowing and more even complexion.
