Highly articulate and cerebral, Sir Olu Okeowo, the high boss of Gibraltar Construction firm has blazed a lot of trails for others to follow in the construction sector in Nigeria.
He is also the biggest player in the whole of Ikoyi, Parkview and Banana Island axis, in Lagos.
The fact is that he has invested in no small measure in the area. The high-flying socialite who is generous to a fault has executed projects and many more are still under construction, the latest being Abraham’s Court on Rumens Road in Ikoyi, Lagos.
It is made up to 60 units of four bedroom apartments with one room boys quarters. It goes for N160million with very attractive payment plan. Aside this, Okeowo has over the few years developed and sold prime residences in Lagos such as Solomon’s Court, Adejoke’s Court, Emmanuel’s Court and Grace’s Court, all in Ikoyi, with many more for sale.
Unknown to many, he is heavily into philanthropy, the reason he was recently honoured by the Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Lagos, in appreciation of his exceptional generosity.
