Telecommunications outfit, Globacom, has urged members of the senior national team to go all out to beat Egypt in today’s African Nations Cup qualifier in Kaduna.

The call comes just as the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has revealed that the Super Eagles would receive the win bonus for a 2018 World Cup qualifier against Swaziland today.

The players are to receive a $5,000 bonus-a-man for the 2-0 home win over Swaziland in November.

The payment was delayed after the NFF first ordered the players to open foreign currency accounts where the bonus would be transferred.

Top NFF officials have already arrived Kaduna to ensure the payments are effected.

It is hoped that this payment will fire up the players ahead of Friday’s must-win AFCON qualifier against Egypt.

Eagles spokesman Toyin Ibitoye said: “We have no option but to win.

“The game is very, very crucial and a win will boost our confidence for the second match in Egypt.”

In its call to the Eagles, Globacom advised the players to work assiduously towards defeating the Pharaoh’s of Egypt, not only in Kaduna, but also on their home soil in Alexandria, Egypt.

“It is important to go for victory in this encounter to help the team gain confidence ahead of the crucial second leg in Cairo which will ultimately determine which of the two teams will qualify from Group D,” Glo added.

While advising the technical crew to field the fittest players, who can withstand the pressure associated with matches of this magnitude, the company urged the entire team to give their best and ensure that they outclass the Egyptians during the two-legged encounter to make qualification for AFCON less cumbersome.
