The Arsenal manager has rated the Nigeria star very highly.
“He’s a creative player who has a high work rate and team spirit,” he remarked.
“Overall he’s a player who develops very well.
“He has a big passion for the game.
“He can score, he can play on the flanks or through the middle.”

Iwobi, boasts 10 appearances in his debut season for Arsenal, starting four times.Three of those starts have come in the FA Cup, a competition Arsenal have won for the last two seasons, where he has been fielded in an attacking midfield role.

Meanwhile, the Principal of Sapati International School (SIS) Ilorin, Osaze Uwadiae, has berated the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for allegedly making things difficult for coaches of the nation’s football teams.

Uwadiae, who spoke on the imperative of honouring the contractual agreement between the employers and the employees for the work to thrive, believed that the NFF through alleged haphazard implementation of its terms of contract had abruptly sent out many coaches from their job.

He spoke to journalists at the weekend in Ilorin, during the activities marking the 9th Inter-House Sports athletics competition of the school.

According to him, “Sunday Oliseh made no unpatriotic move as far as I am concerned with his resignation as the manager of the Super Eagles because his employer did not totally surrender the powers and authourities of the office to him.

“To worsen the matters, he was not paid his emoluments as at when due. How would such a person be motivated? Besides, the NFF is contemplating the employment of an expatriate coach. Nigeria for instance is praying hard for a good leader, so if we are so interested in anyone white, why can’t us employ a white man as our President and states’ Governors?”

Uwadiae, urged the NFF to purge itself of its inadequacies and learn the act of administration from seasoned football administrators the world over, so that the nation’s football can be taken to the next level.

The Principal, while urging parents to encourage their children to develop interests in sports disclosed the existing synergy and collaboration between the authourities of the school and the Kwara state government.
