OSCAR has told Sky Sports News HQ he sees his long-term future as being at Chelsea and he is fit for the forthcoming season following injury.

The 23-year-old missed the final five games of last season as Chelsea marched to the Premier League title because of a thigh injury, which also kept him out of Brazil’s Copa America squad.

Juventus were hoping to tempt Oscar to Serie A this summer but he insists he wants to remain at Stamford Bridge.

He said: “My future is in Chelsea. In the last year I have signed the new contract and I love Chelsea; I want to stay here for a long time.”

Oscar said he and his team-mates are confident they can help Radamel Falcao, a summer import from Manchester United, rediscover his top form.

He is also confident fellow Brazilian, 19-year-old Kenedy, an imminent £6.3m signing from Fluminese who has been allowed to train with Chelsea, will be a success at Stamford Bridge.

Oscar said: “Of course he’s young, he needs to play games in order to improve his game but (Jose) Mourinho is the best coach and he has Brazilian guys here and everybody will help him.”

Chelsea open their bid to retain the Premier League title with a home match against Swansea on August 8.

Before that, they are using Montreal as a training base for their three International Champions Cup matches in the USA, kicking off against Thierry Henry’s former side, the New York Red Bulls, on Wednesday evening.

That will be followed by mouth-watering matches against Paris Saint-Germain in Charlotte, North Carolina, on July 25 and Barcelona at the home ground of the Washington Redskins on July 29.
