Singer, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, well known by the stage name Spyro, has released the dates for his Next Rated EP world tour, which will be from this month to December 2024.
According to Who’s Your Guy hitmaker, the world tour will traverse key destinations worldwide and span multiple continents, including Africa, Europe, the UK, the United States, Canada, South America, Australia, the UAE, and the Middle East.
The singer-songwriter made his music debut with the release of his track, Funke, with renowned Nigerian music stars like Davido and Mayorkun featuring in the song’s remix.
Despite these notable names endorsing the song, it failed to gain widespread popularity. Undeterred, Spyro released Gunshot in 2019, and followed with another single, titled, For You in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He gained widespread recognition after the release of his single Billing in July 2022. The song was included in the top 100 Nigerian music charts and streamed on several streaming services.
Spyro solidified his presence in the music industry with the release of the street anthem cum club banger titled Who Is Your Guy on November 25, 2023. In addition to its critical acclaim in Nigeria and Africa, the song rose to prominence across the globe following a remix with self-dubbed Africa original bad girl, Tiwatope Savage popularly known as Tiwa Savage and released later in March the same year.
