The African Dentist has joined forces with Kokun Foundation to deliver crucial dental services to the Ojodu Berger local community.
The partnership provided a list of free services like tooth scaling, polishing, and consultations to residents.
With this outreach on May 15, 2024, Dr. Abraham Akinbami, also known as The African Dentist, reinstated his commitment to making dental healthcare accessible to Nigerians, regardless of economic status.
The dentist, who is also a health creator on Instagram, has always spoken about his passion for improving oral health and hygiene in both online and offline communities.
“This partnership is primarily about ensuring that we extend care and enhance the quality of lives of the people in this community. Everyone deserves good quality dental care, and it makes me really proud to collaborate with Kokun Foundation to make this accessible,” he said.
“The positive response from the community highlights the importance of these outreach programs. We look forward to partnerships such as this that help us expand our reach to people who would otherwise not be able to afford it,” he also shared.
Founded by Olukokun Adepeju, the Kokun Foundation is a humanitarian organization that’s focused on providing basic necessities like food, shelter and healthcare to the underprivileged population.
Both organisations have shared that they are looking forward to continuing their partnership and expanding their outreach to even more communities in the near future, as they believe that even more people can benefit from such vital health services.
For the last five years, the African Dentist has been dedicated to revolutionizing the way that people think about their dental health as a way of achieving overall well-being. He strongly believes that when people understand the importance of oral health, they can lead healthier lives.
On World Oral Health Day in March, he, alongside creators like Real Warri Pikin and Aproko Doctor, collaborated with global toothpaste brand, Colgate, to spread awareness of good dental hygiene.
