AXA Mansard wins best legal team awards
…As AXA retains first global insurance brand
AXA Mansard emerged the “Best In-House Legal Team” in the Insurance category at the 2016 ESQ Nigerian Legal Awards for two consecutive times, while AXA won the first global insurance brand by interbrand best global brands 2016 ranking for the eight consecutive year.
The Company Secretary, Omowunmi Adewusi, also received an outstanding recognition in the “40 under 40 legal practitioners” award category at the award ceremony which recently held in Lagos.
Speaking on the recognition, Adewusi said: “We are indeed elated to be recognised and presented this award. The AXA Mansard culture of integrity, professionalism, team spirit and the continuous desire for excellence are some of the factors that qualified the team for the award. AXA Mansard would continue to redefine standards.”
Commenting on the award, the Chief Executive Officer of Legal Blitz Limited, Lere Fashola, stated that the Nigerian Legal Awards is designed to recognise the important contribution the legal business community makes, to the development of the Nigerian economy.
Also commenting on the AXA Awards, the Chief Executive Officer, AXA Mansard Insurance Plc, Mrs. Yetunde Ilori, said: “we are excited to be part of the AXA Group, now recognised as the first insurance brand in the world for the eight consecutive times.”
Meanwhile, the Group Chief Customer Officer, in charge of Customer, Brand and Digital, and Chief Executive Officer of AXA Global Asset Management, Véronique Weill, reiterated that, “we are very proud to be the leading insurance brand for the eight year in a row.
The ESQ Nigerian Legal Awards is organised by Legal Blitz Publishers of ESQ Legal Practice Magazine and endorsed by the Nigerian Bar Association, the British Nigerian Law Forum, and the Nigerian Lawyers Association (US).
This recognition further affirms AXA brand’s strong ongoing reputation and value, which is the first insurance brand, the third best brand across all financial services and 46th best global brand. AXA has made remarkable progress with a brand value of over 10 billion USD, indicating a 14 per cent increase from last year and 49 per cent increase since 2013.
