Stakeholders brainstorm on maximising potential of agric policies
The institute said there is a need for stakeholders’ input in the government policies, and doing this would enable a collaborative policy formulation that would make extension services and products more acceptable to farmers and other critical stakeholders.
‘Agricultural Policies in Nigeria: Unlocking Full Potential, Identifying Challenges and Solution,’ is the focus as the Agricultural and Rural Management Training Institute (ARMTI) and stakeholders in the food policy and production brainstorm.
Prof. Charles Arinzechukwu Igwe, Vice-Chancellor, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Comrade Musa Mohammad, the National Vice-President of All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) are part of the discussants.
