Arrested American Rapper T.I Claims Wife Was Abused
American rapper, T.I (real name: Clifford Harris Jr.), was arrested by the police on Wednesday after a security guard called to say he was threatened.
T.I was returning to his Georgia home but could not produce his key. When they began arguing, T.I asked: Don’t you know who I am?
He said he called his wife, Tameka Tiny Harris, who in turn wanted to speak with the security guard so that he gives him entry.
The security guard began to curse his wife when he was speaking to her.
According to a 911 clip obtained by TMZ, the security guard called the police and said, “A resident is walking back here at the guard shack where I’m at.”
When they arrived, the guard refused to give his name to the police and did not tell them that it was T.I who had woken him up. Read his lawyer’s statement below:

In a video revealed on TMZ, police claim he was “acting like a fool” when he demanded to know why he was arrested. He was also charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
The rapper, however, claims that the charges are racial adding that the police are “white cops in a very white area”.
He has been released on bond.
