Brazilian Descendants Association visits consulate in Lagos

Ms Lolade Salvador and Mr Sunday Marques represented the Brazilian Descendants Association Lagos at D Brazilian Consulate

The Brazilian Descendants Association (BDA), in Lagos has paid a courtesy visit to the country’s consulate in the former federal capital

The Consul-General, Ambassador Flavio Roberto Bonzanini, who received members and executive of the BDA, led by the president of the association, Mr. Graciano Martins, assured them of total support for local and global development.

According to the president, the primary purpose of the visit was to formally present to the Consulate as an entity registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

Among several matters discussed, were ways in which the consulate and the BDA can partner to build and revive Brazilian culture within its community in Lagos in particular, and endear its charming customs to the world.

Other executives and trustees of the Association present were Mr. Lawal Pedro (SAN)- Vice President, Mr. Ladi Vera-Cruz, Secretary, Ms Lolade Salvador; Treasurer, Taiwo Joseph, Public Relations Officer, Mr. Gbagura Neville, Financial Secretary and Mr. Jide Da Silva, Social Secretary.
