CPJ for launch saturday
Towards promoting the general welfare of Nigerians and protection of citizens, a new faith- based non-governmental organisation, Catalyst For Global Peace & Social Justice Initiative (CPJ), will be launched on Saturday, by Christian leaders desirous of peace, prosperity and social justice for all nations.
The launch slated for the Golden Tulip Hotel, Festac, Lagos, by 10:00am, will be chaired by the coordinator of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) and former vice president of the World Bank, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, while the immediate past chairman of Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Dr. Sam Amadi, will deliver the keynote address.
According to a statement signed by its Executive Director, Henry Onifade, CPJ intends to contribute to global peace initiatives and help provide services in all crisis-ridden nations of the world.
“The CPJ’s vision is to ensure a world of harmony and abundance, while its mission is to empower citizens to work for peace and social justice. Its areas of focus include, good governance, conflict resolution, social justice, humanitarian, welfare services and Social services,” he said.
