Delta State Governor, Okowa

THE Delta State Government has assured the people of Ughelli South Local Council that they will not be disappointed for voting the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during this year’s general elections.

The state Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Peter Mrakpor, who gave the assurance during a thank you visit to the people lauded them for voting massively for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and standing by the party all the way, noting that the governor was the key to the overall development of the state.

The commissioner, who was received by traditional rulers, party chairman and elders as well as ward leaders, youths and women, said he was in the area to appreciate them for their support that gave the party victory during the governorship poll in the state.

He told the mammoth crowd who came out to receive him that the visit was in fulfillment of his vow to offer thanksgiving to God for the electoral victory of Okowa and that of his wife, Mrs. Joan Onyemaechi Mrakpor who currently represents Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency at the House of Representatives.

“We have come to thank God for the victory of the governor and that of my wife and my appointment as Attorney-General/Commissioner for Justice.”
