Dickson visits Aregbesola, hails his political tolerance

The Bayelsa State Governor, Henry Seriake Dickson, yesterday lauded the Osun State government for creating an atmosphere of peace, stability and political tolerance in the state.

He gave the commendation when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Rauf Aregbesola at Government House, Osogbo stating that Aregbesola’s administration has justified the essence of leadership and reflected the same in all economic strata, particularly in the security sector.

Dickson, who was in Osun in his capacity as the Chairman, Primary Election Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the September 22 governorship election in the state, said his visit exposed him to good legacies of the Aregbesola government.

He described his presence in the state as adventurous and rewarding in view of the peaceful atmosphere, stability and comfort created by the present administration.

Dickson said the Aregbesola administration demonstrated a high sense of commitment to good governance and extended a hand of fellowship to ‎all.

“I am happy to be in Osun, this is a state of a hardworking and performing governor. I came to Osun to oversee the conduct of my party governorship primary election and since we arrived, we have seen the peaceful atmosphere here.

Speaking, Aregbesola commended Dickson’s leadership quality, describing him as a noble Nigerian, astute and an advocate of good governance who meant well for the country.

Aregbesola said Dickson’s visit ‎was a manifestation that Nigeria was democratically advancing and improving and commended him on the successful completion of the PDP’s primaries in the state.
