Engage in vices, face expulsion – provost warns students

The Provost, Federal College of Agriculture, Ishiagu, Ebonyi State, Prof. Justina Mgbada has warned that any student found involved in exams malpractice and other vices like forgery, cultism, drug abuse and prostitution will be expelled.

Mgbada stated this during the 31st matriculation ceremony of the institution.

She urged the new students to take advantage of the opportunity to work hard and avoid vices, saying the admission of anyone found engaging in them will be withdrawn.

The Institution matriculated over 300 students in both National Diploma and Higher National Diploma.

She said: “We are urging you all to obey the rules and regulations of the institution as the authority has zero tolerance for any nefarious act and will apply sanctions against offenders.”

She further advised students to make out time to engage in sports and positive extra curricular activities to enhance their social, academic performance, noting that these activities will have positive impact on their behaviours.
