Experts task entrepreneurs on strategic partnership for growth
This was the submission of speakers at the 6th quarterly Emerging African Leaders Conference and Integrity Awards held at De Renaissance Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
Organised by the Emerging African Leaders Academy (EALA), the conference featured opportunities for Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), innovators, government officials and members of the civil society to chart a new course on how to promote African enterprises for strategic global partnerships.
In a statement, the founder of EALA, Stephanie Afolabi said the conference is held in collaboration with strategic partners to promote entrepreneurship and economic development as well as showcase high-potential young professionals and entrepreneurs who are shaping the economic future of Nigeria and Africa.
The keynote speaker, Prof. Pat Utomi, noted that there must be strategic partnerships to address the challenges faced by budding entrepreneurs, noting that government’s attempt to convene a national economic conference is a belated effort.
Afolabi said the project tagged “EAL Vision 2020” was launched in Atlanta in the United States in 2014, but holds in Nigeria, stressing that there are plans to expand the theme to other African countries.
