NIPR holds January edition clinic today
The Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) will today hold the January edition of its PR clinic.
The lecture with the theme: “Ten things that will shape the future of Public Relations,” will hold at Westown Hotel, 7, Sheraton-Opebi Link Road, Sheraton Bus Stop, Ikeja, Lagos, at 3:00 p.m.
The guest lecturer is the president and chairman of council, Africa Public Relations Association and Managing Director of CMC Connect Burson-Marsteller, Yomi Badejo Okusanya.
The clinic is expected to provide a high-end training geared towards equipping and capacitating members of the institute with high-level strategies, tactics and know-how tools to do their jobs better, train their team-mates and lift their campaign results.
A statement from the Lagos chapter reads: “As practitioners of an ever-evolving field, there’s need for public relations and social media professionals to constantly strive to stay on top of all current and even future trends in the industry. These trends illuminate which tactics most effectively help practitioners execute their strategies. The theme is also premised on the need to groom practitioners to cultivate professional image going forward.”
