Ondo offers employment to 18 graduates of AAU

IN a bid to encourage academic excellence, the Ondo State Government has offered 18 graduates of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba- Akoko (AAUA), who made first class grade automatic employments in the state civil service.

The governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko announced the offer during the 6th Convocation ceremony of 2013/2014 of the institution at the weekend. He acknowledged the positive impacts made by AAUA to churn out viable manpower for the nation.

Mimiko noted that the graduates of the institution are making the state proud home and abroad, justifying the vision of the school at producing to the labour markets graduates that are certified in learning and character.

He hinged the huge investment of the State government in the education sector on the drive to make education affordable to the people of the State, particularly AAUA, which emerged twice as best state university in the country in 2005 and 2013.

The governor presented prizes to the overall best graduating student, Bolarinwa Moshood Olawale from the Department of Physics and Electronics with 4.81 CGPA.
