U.K. hosts Africa’s marginal oil field devt forum
All is set for the Africa Small & Marginal Oil Field Development Conference scheduled for 17 to 18 August 2016 at Crowne Plaza, London.
Energy & Corporate Africa the organizers of the conference said some of the confirmed speakers for the event are from Nigeria, Ghana , Senegal and many other countries in the region.
The theme of this year’s conference is: “Find it, commercialize it”.
Some of the confirmed speakers are Deputy Director/Head Upstream Department of Petroleum Resources Nigeria, Emmanuel Bekee; Managing Director/Head Oil & Gas Standard Bank London, Damien Mauvais; Chairman Explorco GNPC/ Director Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Kyeretwie Opoku; E & P Director Petrosen Senegal, Joseph Medou; Managing Director LADOL, Dr Amy Jadesimi, Exploration Manager, Africa at Noble Energy, Kirk Rovang; Chairman All Grace Energy, Prof. Anthony Adegbulugbe among others.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Energy & Corporate Africa, Sunny Oputa, “Africa has been recognized as a continent of great promise for hydrocarbon exploration and production. With a high potential and success rate in discoveries and reservoirs, the region is also endowed with significantly large number of onshore/offshore small and marginal fields.
