‘We’ll soon parade killers of Bokkos paramount ruler’
• Yobe needs N12 billion for IDPs
Killers of the paramount ruler of Bokkos, the Saf Ron Kulere, Dah Lazarus Amashin Agai, in Plateau State will soon be paraded by the authorities.
Giving the hint while addressing State House correspondents in Abuja yesterday, Governor Simon Lalong who was there to meet with President Mohammadu Buhari to discuss agriculture among other sundry challenges bedeviling his state, said that the culprits would soon be made to face justice.
“I am hopeful that very soon we will unveil those behind the killing of the traditional ruler. I have not slept on it and those are the things I have briefed the President. We are very vigilant and pursuing those who are behind this,” he said.
He attributed the current relative peace enjoyed by residents of Plateau State to the confidence his administration has been able to restore and the encouragement it has given to people in the area.
Also fielding questions from newsmen at the end of his meeting with President Mohammadu Buhari, Governor AIbrahim Gaidam said the government would require about N10-20 billion to rebuild and reconstruct the local government areas destroyed by Boko Haram in Yobe State.
Gaidam said he was in the Villa to solicit presidential intervention to facilitate the return of the over 3000 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) scattered in the various camps in the state.
