Her legacies in the areas of human resource management, corporate governance, legal, employee relations and others remain indelible at United Bank for Africa (UBA), Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) and MTN, where she helped to establish new departments, stimulate productivity, drive innovation and promote corporate social responsibility.
This career was built on a solid educational foundation gained from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, where she studied Law; Cambridge University, United Kingdom (LL.M) and Lancaster University’s Management School, as well as the late Chief FRA Williams Chambers, where she started her legal career.
Her founding of Women in Successful Careers (WISCAR) in 2007 has further enriched her career.
Through WISCAR, she is achieving her desire to help many young women climb the corporate ladder, which is not unconnected with her knack for motivating people to be the best.
Pooling her expertise with those of other equally successful women, year after year, they mentor young women to improve themselves and their chances to be on the top of their game in the corporate and business environment.MO State Governor Rochas Okorocha has appointed his wife, Nkechi, as chairperson of the state’s Amnesty Committee to take care of alleged militants who have given up their arms in the state.
Following the surrendering of arms and embracing of peace by militants fighting in the oil producing areas of Ohaji/Egbema and Oguta, Okorocha has inaugurated the committee.
