The 13 foreign-based players picked from the national camp opened in Florida, United States a few weeks ago, have joined their home-based colleagues in Lagos for the final round of preparations for the 2017 Afrobasket Championship billed to hold in Mali.
The players arrived in the country at the weekend to join their home-based counterparts, who also have been in camp getting ready for the championship.
According to the NBBF, the combined team will begin full training today with Coach Sam Vincent and members of his technical crew working hard to blend the players into a formidable force before the competition in Mali.
Meanwhile, based on the success of the 2017 May Madness organised by the Continental Basketball League (CBL) as part of the Lagos State at 50 celebrations, the CBL has announced the launch of its official online retail store, the first Pan African sports merchandise online store in the country.
