The Archbishop and President of Gospel Baptist Conference of Nigeria and Overseas, Professor Magnus Adeyemi Atilade, has pleaded with Nigerians to be patient with the Federal Government, as the present administration is doing its best to redeem the economy.

Addressing the congregation, during the church’s 44th anniversary held recently, Atilade pointed out that God created man to have power and dominion over all other creatures, but through sin, man lost this authority by eating the forbidden fruit of the tree in the middle of the Garden of Eden.

He appealed to the congregation and Nigerians to learn to live a sinless life always, so as to move the country towards the path of honour and progress, as well as, inherit the kingdom, which God promised his children.

The Archbishop enjoined Nigerians to fast and pray fervently for God to intervene in Nigeria’s affairs and reposition her economy that is presently in a bad shape.

The prayer session was led by the Archbishop and President of the Church, Professor Magnus Adeyemi Atilade, assisted by Rt. Rev. David Falade, vice President and Bishop of Ogun and Benin Republic chapter, and General Secretary, Rt. Rev. Ben Odekunle/Bishop of Lagos at the event held in Awe, Oyo state.
