The man with three legs – Part 4
You are welcome to this edition, and I know you are eager to know why men have leaves, but they have no fruits.
“And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language, and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do,” Genesis 11:6.
The people prayed hard, but all I could see was hard life; and the angel looked at me and said, ‘these people are praying, but they have no Faith.’ Do you mean that people can pray without faith, I asked? ‘Yes,’ he answered. And I asked again, ‘so what is faith?’
Do not turn off on me because I know that you have heard so much about faith, but wait to read this angelic definition and explanation. However, note that faith is not explained, but ‘evidenced.’
Your evidence is directly proportional to your faith.
The angel said, ‘faith is imagination, language and action.’ Remember that the word of God says you must be born again to see the Kingdom of God and you must believe to see God now and later. Thus, the natural man without Jesus Christ lives and walks about with two legs, but the Spiritual man — the man, who is born again and justified by the blood of Jesus, walks on three legs. “The just shall live by faith,” Habakkuk 2:4.
A man without legs is lame, and even with one leg; one cannot make any appreciable movement. He/she is susceptible to untold difficulties and denials of comforts. The way it is with the physical, natural man, so, it is with the believer in Christ, who may be a prayer warrior, a preaching machine, a Bible reciter or a religious zealot. Your hard work without faith in God is equal to hard-life, period.
Don’t quit yet, as something deeper is coming, but I have exhausted the space allowed for today.
You must be born again, you must believe and you will make it in Jesus’ name.
