Tinubu tasks Nigerians on peace, positive change
Senator Oluremi Tinubu has called on Nigerians to be patient with the present administration, adding that change is not always easy at the initial stage, but the end result is always rewarding.
Tinubu said this at the Adult Harvest Thanksgiving of the African Church Cathedral Salem, Ebute-Meta, Lagos, last Sunday.
The Senator urged Nigerians to use religion as a tool of peace and to lead exemplary lifestyles that would create the needed change in the society.
Tinubu who was represented by the Executive Secretary of the Lagos Mainland Local Government, Omolola Essien, said: “We must all help make this change a reality, by using our various religions as a tool to bring the desired change. If we all put into use all the good morals we get from our various religions, we can together make the needed change to happen.”
Speaking on the theme, ‘Harvest Of Great Reward,’ the church secretary, Olutayo Oteniya, said, “the present administration is taking Nigerians somewhere and the president needs everybody’s prayers to succeed.”
